Vandyke Lifer!! We will miss you Bob! Thanks for all the years of service and keeping our grounds and fields looking the best. Hope the grass grows a little slower where you're at. :)

Uncle Bob,
You were invincible. You Showed all of us kids how to build, play, grow, and most of all how to live.
Your memory will forever be embedded at the Tuttle Marsh Open....Sleeping Bob Area nestled across the street, near the 3rd generation bar by the fire pit----ohhhh the memories of late nights and playing guitar with firewood, rock-and-roll playing 24-7.
Always our hero. Always our Uncle Bob.
Lorraine and family,
We are extremely saddened to hear the passing of Bob, "Mr. City". My dad told me that he just spoke with Bob 2 weeks ago. Last month, Bob talked to me about coming up to Tawas to open camp this year. We are going to miss visiting with him and hearing his one word or two-word liners: "yippee-kay-aye", "spike-city" and most notibly, "r-zee-matey" to name just a few.
Bob was an awesome neighbor, who always welcomed us to stop in for a laugh and catch up on past times. He did his daily "walk-a-thons" (with walking stick in hand) in the Tuttle Marsh while up north in Tawas. He would check on our property, come into camp, take out a red squirrel or two with the .22 and sign our log book before leaving. He last signed in on October 1st, 2015, his #238 autograph at the Mochty Camp over the years. So glad we were able to have known Bob for over 40 years and be able to call him our friend. R.I.P. brother Bob, you will forever be missed.

"I Heard Him Say"
Don't mourn for me I heard him say,
I'm happy and at peace
Stepping into that Loving Light
was such a sweet release
I know that many there will miss me
and sometimes your tears will flow
But please know that I was ready
and I want you all to know
that even though my life seemed short
to all that knew my name
being here is awesome........
I wish I could explain
just know that we are but a vapor
in our earthy human form
and we are all preparing for this day
from the minute we are born
You need to know that Jesus
heard each & every prayer
and I've learned some more things here
and with you I will share
don't ever stop believing
or ever doubt your power
It's just that each one of us
has got our destined hour
Our Father has a life for us
that until you're here with me
you'll never know what's waiting
so you'll have to come and see
I want you all to be ready....
Please put Jesus in your heart
for that is the only way to be
with me where we will never part
Thank you all for caring and sharing in my life
and please believe the Bible's true
there's no sickness tears or strife
so celebrate my victory and
parents please do like my mine
teach your kids to know the Lord
so that their light will shine
For just a little while then
I'll say good-bye to you
I'm happy safe and in His arms
"MY AWESOME LIFE ANEW"
I have good memories, lots of laughs with all that life has brought.. to Bob's family & friends you will be in my thoughts and prayers. God's Blessings, Linda Yow
Sweet Kramer Gang memories and that aooooga horn! Thanks for the rides to school RIP
Rip Bob, been many years since I've seen you. We were known as the Kramer gang long before there were gangs. So many fun times and great memories. You were one of a kind. Fly high spread your wings.
