It is one of the most difficult times to navigate but Kathy and Nicole do such a wonderful job guiding you through the process, taking care of all the details. I would highly recommend Rudy. “I just had a Funeral for my wife Wanda in April, the last time that I had been to Rudy Funeral Home was when my mother had to lay my Father to rest about 48 years ago when I was 18. When I went inside Rudy's I was impressed with the way the place was decorated with all the military fare through out the building as though you were in a Museum, this gave you something to look at at a very stressful time. The staff was also very helpful and caring and made sure to take their time too address all my needs. I would recommend Rudy Funeral Home to anybody who finds there self in need of this type service.”

“Beth Rebar Murphy recommends Rudy Funeral Home. 38 mins · I would review our experience with Rudy as nothing less than FANTASTIC!!!!!! From day one until the burial at the grave site, Kathy, Dennis and Nicole were AWESOME!!!!!! They helped us with everything!!!!! They explained in full detail how the process of burial works, let me view my dad prior to the service, let me make the decision of how much or none, if any make-up on dad. They helped me with decorating the lay out area, transporting photos, boards, decor and food from the car. They worked endlessly around the clock to greet our guests, replenish food, display flowers as they came in and were very friendly with everyone. Dennis, on several occasions gave a guided tour of the Nautical Museum they have on display to all of our guests interested. At the church service, they took care of everything so we could spend our time with our family and guests. They did a great job organizing the persession to the burial site and made our experience at the site absolutely beautiful and pleasant. Kathy and Nicole handled our entire experience with so much love, kindness and compassion that I don't think I will ever use anyone but them. I had made several phone calls to them prior to the lay out, i was sad, scared and basically an emotional mess, regardless of how many times i called, they always answered and always made me feel better. They even left their homes, off hours to come and meet me there. I highly recommend hiring them to fulfill are your needs when you lose a loved one, I promise you that you will have the most amazing experience that you could ever imagine!!!! Thank you sooooo much Kathy,Dennis and Nicole, you all are truly WONDERFUL and my mother and our family THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts for everything and all you did for us and especially for our father!!!!! “I would definitely recommend Rudy Funeral Home. Kathy and Nicole were caring, kind, and compassionate. They exceeded all overall expectations above and beyond for my family. The funeral home is very well clean and kept. Inside the building is an amazing and beautiful nautical museum dedicated to the history of the Great Lakes and the maritime industry. It is certainly a great distraction to occupy and ease the mind during time of loss.”
