Ada Dickie (nee Hempy) age 86 of Grosse Pointe Woods, died at Beaumont Hospital in Grosse Pointe after a short illness .Ada was born October 24,1928 in Detroit, Michigan to Paul and Florence (nee Williams) Hempy. She was a bookkeeper for several small businesses and had worked at the Grosse Pointe Public Library, Central Branch.. She was predeceased by her husband Malcolm. Dear mother of Debra (Richard) Crabb, Shawn (Mike) Conlin and Malcolm II "Tad" (Beth) Dickie. Grandmother of Andrew, Spencer, Trent, Malcolm III, Tyler,Katie, Brian, Kristen and Brooke. Sister of James Hempy. Niece of Irene Pyle. Ada was active with the Grosse Pointe Woods Presbyterian Church.
