Allen "Al" Edward Patterson's Obituary
Allen Edward Patterson age 62 of Warren, MI died on Saturday, September 9, 2023. Born in Detroit, Michigan, he was the son of the late Francis Dee and Dorothy Patterson. Beloved husband of Deanna for 38 years. Dear stepfather of Mark Anthony (Malinda) Kelsey and Timothy Michael (Elizabeth) Kelsey. Loving grandpa to 4 grandchildren, Tyler, Alexis, Jaxson, and Elliott Kelsey. One of ten siblings, he is survived by Catherine (Bob) Baurhenn, Lori (Late Rick) Barnett, Robert (Ruth) Patterson, Susie (Bobby) Rice, Karen (Gene) Schroeder, Dennis (Kelly) Patterson and Judy (Darcy) Amaro. He was predeceased by his brothers Stephen (Myung-Ok) Patterson and Kevin (Denise) Patterson. Also survived by his godson, Jory Gray, many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-laws, sisters-in-laws, and friends. Al owned his own company, A.D.E.P. Construction, for many years. He was so handy and talented in everything he did. Always most critical of how things should be done “just right”. He designed his beautiful backyard ponds and gardens along with his wife Deanna. Over the years, they have won several awards from the Beautification Commission, City of Warren for their outstanding gardens. In his spare time, the fish in his outdoor ponds and inside aquariums always kept him busy. Whether it was breeding fish or maintaining their habitat, he loved being outside. Al also enjoyed decorating their home inside and out for the specific holiday and time of year. Above all, most important to Al was family. He loved getting together with family for the holidays, playing with the grandkids and watching them grow. Visitation will be held at the Rudy Funeral Home 25650 Van Dyke in Center Line on Saturday September 16,2023 from 1-8 PM. Sharing of Memories at 6:30 PM.
