Amy Elizabeth Griffith's Obituary
Amy Elizabeth Griffith age 59 of Center Line, died suddenly on September 24, 2020. She was born in Warren on August 21, 1961 to Margaret and the late Roger Griffith. Dearest sister to Doug Griffith. Loving aunt to David, Thomas, Daniel (Erika) and Rachael (Kevin Gault). Also survived by her boyfriend and longtime companion Shayne Salmon along with his parents, Barb and George. Amy was a graduate of Lincoln High School class of 1982. Amy was employed as a dietary aide at Warren Woods Nursing Home. She was an extremely giving person and generous with her time to others. She helped her brother raise and take care of her niece and nephews when their mom died leaving them at a young age. In later years, she was an extreme help to both her mom and brother who faced medical Issues. Amy adored her cat, Angel, and had a passion for the Toledo zoo, Cedar Pointe, and watching Tiger baseball games. She was a longtime member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Warren. Visitation with be on Tuesday September 29, 2020 at Rudy Funeral Home 25650 Van Dyke in Center Line from 1-8 pm with a Prayer service and a sharing of memories at 6:30 PM. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday at 11 am with Pastor Ryan Reese officiating. Burial private at Woodlawn Cemetery. Due to Covid restrictions social distancing must be maintained and masks worn in the funeral home. We are also limited to the number of people in the funeral home at one time.
