Bernadette Marie Helkowski's Obituary
Bernadette Marie Helkowski, age 80, of Center Line, passed away on May 15, 2025. She was born in Detroit on January 12, 1945, to the late Larry Tucci and the late Johanna Kinney.
Beloved wife of Gerald Helkowski, whom she married in 1963. Loving mother of Gerald and Timothy Helkowski who predeceased her. Cherished grandmother of Alyssa Helkowski and Danny Helkowski. Proud great-grandmother of Alivia Newman.
Bernadette was an active member of the Friends of the Library in Center Line. She earned her Master Gardener certificate and found great joy in tending to her garden. She also enjoyed crocheting, reading, and coloring.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Rudy Funeral Home, 25650 Van Dyke, Center Line, on May 28, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Funeral service 11:00 am.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to the Center Line Public Library.
