Betty Jo Bates, age 81, of Madison Heights, formerly of Warren, died on April 17, 2016 at Wm Beaumont Hospital of Royal Oak. Beloved wife of the late James. Loving mother of Rhonda (Chuck) Marsh and the late C.L. Strouth. Grandmother of Shawn (Brandy) Marsh, Tonya (Simon) Marsh and Brian Strouth. Great-Grandmother of Taylor and Carson Marsh and Kynley Strouth. Sister of Kenneth Ramey and predeceased by Jeanette Bates, Juanita Nunley and Eugene Ramey. Proud member of the Fellowship General Baptist Church. Visitation at the Rudy Funeral Home, 25650 Van Dyke in Center Line on Thursday from 1 to 8 pm. Funeral Service Friday 11 am. Procession to White Chapel Cemetery in Troy.
