Billy Ray Akers, age 84, of Warren, died on November 20, 2024. He was born in Dana, Kentucky to the late Elmon and Ada Akers Beloved husband of Stephanie, married almost 61years. Loving father of the late Billy Akers and Sherry Falk (John). Predeceased by brothers Richard, Archer, Thurman, and Hatler. Survived by many nieces and nephews. Billy Ray retired from AWT Metal Specialty. He was great at carrying on a conversation and always had a good joke to tell. Visitation will be held at Rudy Funeral Home, 25650 Van Dyke, in Center Line on Friday, November 22nd from 1pm – 8pm with a 7pm time of funeral service.
