Bobbie Ethel Langford's Obituary
Bobbie Ethel Langford, age 92 of Warren, MI died on February 22, 2023, at Ascension Macomb Hospital in Warren. Bobbie was born in McMinnville, Tennessee to the late Charlie and Glada Dutton Williams and predeceased by stepfather, Minor Williams. Bobbie was the beloved mother of Deborah, Philip (Diane) and Lisa Langford. She was an exceptional grandmother to Rebekah Langford, Keturah (Keith) Olzak and Randall Langford, and is also survived by four great-grandchildren and joining one in heaven. She was the dear sister of Marlyn (Theda) Williams, Doris (David) Greer, Wayne (Judy) Williams, Dennis (Sharon) Williams and Sharon Sue (Roger) Duty and was predeceased by Janice Williams. Bobbie graduated from the University of Tennessee with a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She was a registered nurse for many years before retiring from Chrysler Corporation after a career as an Industrial Nurse. An avid reader, she enjoyed traveling and watching “Wheel of Fortune” as well. A life celebration will be held at Rudy Funeral Home 25650 Van Dyke in Center Line on Saturday, March 18, 2023, from 1-7 PM with a Memorial service at 3 PM. Interment will be at Oakview Cemetery in Royal Oak at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations should be sent to St. Labre Indian School (https://www.stlabre.org).
