Catherine Rozmanik's Obituary
Catherine Rozmanik age 95 died August 28,2020. Born in Hamtramck, Michigan, she was the daughter of the late Gregory and Kathryn Tereck. Dearest wife of the late Roman "Ray" (1998) Beloved mother of Raymond Mark Rozmanik, Ann Marie Rozmanik, Margaret Rose (Mike) Foster, Cathy Mary Rozmanik and Joseph Thomas Rozmanik. Grandmother of Tom (Julia) Foster and Richard Foster. Great-grandmother of Noah Foster. Also survived by many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. Predeceased by 6 brothers and sisters. Catherine was very much a part of the Ukrainian Community. She was a longtime member of St Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic Church, where she was an active member of the ladies sodality and prayer group there. She spoke, read and wrote fluent Ukrainian and was a very active member in the church. It was not uncommon to see her work the fish fries, sunflower festival, rummage sales and anywhere she could help out. Catherine also loved being at home surrounded by her family. Short trips up north to the family cottage in Oscoda brought her much pleasure and a chance to be with family. Funeral visitation will be at St Josaphat Ukrainian Catholic church on Monday, August 31,2020 beginning after 9 AM followed by a funeral mass at 10 AM. Burial at White Chapel Cemetery.
