Da’Rico “Rico” Eric-Juan Hargett age 27 of Detroit, died suddenly on December 30, 2022. Son of Ayisha (Durwin)Bowers and the late Ricardo Griffin. Partner to Aida Sanchez. Dear father of Chase, Amrina and soon to be Da’rico Rey. Brother of Nicholas Lewis, Shanethia Hunt, Nia Hargett, Santos Burgos, Marquis Mobley, Erika (Kyle) Nash, Cierra Roldan, Sean Harkness and Ryan Bowers. Rico also had many other family members and friends, but his children were his world. He had a big, beautiful smile and was a construction worker by trade. Rico was very handy in fixing up houses to flip. Always trying to stay physically fit, he enjoyed working out, loved playing basketball, dancing and playing chess. His favorite listening music was old R and B, Hip Hop and Latino. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, 2023, at Rudy Funeral Home 25650 Van Dyke in Center Line from 4-8 PM with a 7 PM time of service and sharing of memories.
