Darhl Robert Boyke's Obituary
Darhl R. Boyke age 77 a longtime Warren resident, died on September 8,2018 at Henry Ford Hospital in Clinton Twp. Darhl was the beloved husband of Marie for over 50 years. Father figure to Michael (Heather) and Melinda (Billy) Moss. Darhl was born in Metz, Michigan to the late Otto and Margaret Boyke. From a large family, He was one of eleven brothers and sisters. Darhl is survived by his brother Virgil Boyke (Eleanor) and sisters Ardell Boyke, Lois Golasinski , Marilyn O'Dell, Phyllis Hepburn, and Delene Brege. He was preceded in death by brothers,Larry, William, and James Boyke and sister Gloria Hafner. He was blessed with many caring nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews ands many friends. Darhl was an Army Veteran, who while serving, was an artillery specialist and sharpshooter. He retired from the Chrysler Corporation Jefferson Plant after working over 32 years,and helped build the Dodge Charger, Challenger, Plymouth Super Bee, Plymouth Fury, Dodge Demon, and Jeep Commander. In his spare time, he loved hunting deer and fishing. A memorial visitation and services will be held at Rudy Funeral Home 25650 Van Dyke, Center Line on Saturday, September 22,2018 10am until 2 PM Time of Memorial Service.
