David William Combetta's Obituary
David William Combetta, age 85, long time resident of Eastpointe, MI, died on October 23, 2024 with his family by his side. Beloved husband of the late Geraldine. Loving father of Anthony (Jenni) Combetta and Bernadette Combetta. Cherished grandfather of Maximus Combetta, Levi Durham, and Leah Durham. Brother of Albert (Nancy) Combetta and Richard (Sue) Combetta. Many nieces, nephews, and cousins. A devout Roman Catholic and caregiver for other people, David was a respectful gentleman who loved to make people laugh and was very funny. He loved math, chemistry (as it was his profession), cats and dogs, classical and rock music, Rambo and The Hulk. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him. A funeral mass will be held on Monday, October 28th, 10am Instate for 11am mass at Assumption Grotto Church, 13770 Gratiot Avenue in Detroit.
