I met Diana when we were in the ninth grade at Burroughs Junior High in Detroit when we were assigned to Mr. Tamblyn's homeroom class, Room 223. Our birthdays are both in December, Diana being 22 days older than me. That might have been why we got along so well. We graduated from Commerce High School (not East Commerce - that school closed in 1957) and our friendship continued after school until marriage and Motherhood complicated our lives (we both have four children). Although we haven't been as close, I still count her as a friend, and I will miss her. Carol (Hritz) Sheehy
