Doreen Gay Friant's Obituary
Doreen Friant (Copeland) age 68 of Warren passed away in the early hours of December 17,2025. She is the daughter of the late Martha Copeland (Persons) and Richard Copeland Sr. and was born in Detroit, Michigan. Doreen attended Detroit Public Schools and East Bethlehem Lutheran School. She graduated from Pershing High School. She had worked and retired from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services. She is survived by her daughter Alicia Larche-Minster (Friant), two brothers, Richard Copeland Jr., Charles Copeland and two sisters, Kathy Copeland-Rygwelski (Dennis) and Dawn Schroeder. Also, her cherished Grandson Robert Larche and Granddaughter Kaitlin Minster. Doreen loved and was a proud Great Grandmother (Ammakins) to Kolton and Zander Larche, Ariya Larche, Penelope Larche and Odin Keats. And there are several nieces, nephews and cousins left to cherish her memory. The family of Doreen Friant acknowledges with gratitude the many comforting expressions of love and sympathy extended during our time of sorrow.
