Dorothy "Dot" Shrum was born 3/6/1934 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee to the late Lee and Leslie Coleman. Dear wife of Charles "Charlie" "Fay" Shrum for over 58 years. Loving mother to Anne Marie (Bill) Hurt, Thresa (Tim) Davey, Sharon (Lee) DeVooght, Linda Dupuis, Carolyn (Chuck) Barkatt. Stepmother of Charles Shrum. Adored grandmother of 11 Grandchildren and 13 Great-Grandchildren. Dot was predeceased by her 1 sister and 2 brothers. She was a homemaker who enjoyed her family, especially her grandchildren. Dot was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers and Red Wings. She collected dolls and angels. Bingo was also one of her favorites. Visitation will be held Sunday, August 20, 2017 from 2-8 PM at the Rudy Funeral Home, 25650 Van Dyke in Center Line. Instate Monday, August 21st at Emmanuel Missionary Baptist Church 11071 East 11 Mile Rd. Warren, MI 48093 at 11am until 12 noon Time of Service.
