A couple fond memories.
I was going to take the SAT one Saturday morning and was very nervous the night before as I really did not know at all what to expect. No such thing as practice tests back then. In the morning I found a packed lunch and that cheered me up. As I arrived at my destination I looked inside and there was a note of encouragement from my Mom. I cried at the preciousness of her sentiment and all the nervousness left me.
Another fond memory was at times Judy, Dennis and I would go home from school to eat lunch. It was always soup and grilled cheese/bologna. Often we would watch The Friendly Giant and I remember him always pulling up a single chair, a double chair and a rocker and saying have a seat as the show began. So cozy and comfy. When we left to go back to school she would say "God be with you" and that always brought comfort to me. God be with you Mom.
