Duff Manning Crothers, age 68, of Roseville, died suddenly on December 31, 2021. Born in Grosse Pointe on January 28, 1953, to the late Joseph and Shirley (nee Schaening) Crothers. Loving father of Revelle Knapp, Shane (Jennifer) Crothers, Joseph (Tara) Crothers, and Charles (Sarah) Crothers. Dear grandfather of 18 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Brother of Caryn Crothers Foster, Mark Crothers, Kelly Crothers, and Shawn Crothers. Best friend of Ken Cagle and Bill Franz. Duff worked as a mechanic for over 50 years with Troy Auto (formerly Metro 25) and Morssett Auto Truck. If his children were trying to locate Duff, they looked under the hood of a car. While he worked on your vehicle, you heard Duff tell you that he would rather be on a boat fishing. No services are scheduled. Memorials may be made to the family.
