Eric Edward Lukowski's Obituary
Eric Edward Lukowski age 26 of Warren, passed away tragically on September 11, 2016 in Detroit, MI. Eric was a doting father and dedicated husband who had a vibrant personality and yearning for adventure in life. Eric lit up any room he was in, whether it was cracking a joke to get everyone laughing or singing one of his favorite songs, he was always counted on to be the entertainment of the crowd. Eric was a committed fan of the Detroit Tigers, had a passion for the finer things in life, driving, and most of all music. A compassionate soul, Eric would be the first to offer the shirt off his back to a friend in need. Eric took the most pride in his son Lukas, always being quick to show off his pictures or brag of his accomplishments to anyone close by. Eric will be remembered for his astonishing athleticism, quirking sense of humor, kindness to others, mad dancing skills, eagerness to master new challenges, incessant singing, and most of all his love for his son. He is survived by his beloved wife Kelsey Lynn (nee Slugaj) and son Lukas Michael. Eric is also survived by his father Marc L. Lukowski Sr., Grandmother Carol Hixson (Edward), Brother Marc Lukowski Jr. (Allison), Sister Brooke Moorlag (Chris), Nephews and Niece, Jayden Maddison and Oliver, Uncle Doug and Aunt Trish Lukowski, along with many loving cousins, second cousins, in-laws and close friends. Eric joins his cherished mother Sandra Jean and his aunts in eternal life. A memorial visitation will take place on Wednesday September 28,2016 at the Rudy Funeral Home, 25650 Van Dyke, in Center Line from 6-8 PM. Tributes and a sharing of memories will begin at 7 PM.
