Ernie was 7 years older than me and we grew up together. I remember chasing him and his buddy down the road when I was 7 and he was 14 yelling, "Take me with you!" Needless to say, I lost the race. Ernie helped me out in college by buying my first Stenograph machine, which I used for years and went on to practice court reporting in Alaska for 15 years. He also bought me my first 1967 Camaro while I was living in Anaheim, CA. WHAT A BROTHER! His "quiet" charity was amazing. I miss you so much! Love, Sister Kariina

Ernie was my uncle, but, in reality, he was more like my brother. His middle name was Isaac, which means laughter and it suited him so well. Wherever he was there was laughter.
