Freddie Mae Dye, age 85, of Lathrup Village, died on February 26, 2023. She was born in Rome, Georgia to the late Fred and Annie Mae Freeman. Loving mother of Angela Addison, Michael (Victoria) Addison, Jeffrey (Stacy) Addison, and Yolonda (Adrian) Yzaguirre. Dear grandmother of Lavette, Michael Jr., Darryl, Alicia, Lamar, Alyssa, Brandon, Bryanna, Bryce, Adrian, Aniya, Aliyah, and great-grandmother of 10. Sister of Mary Freeman, late Mildred Ray, and late Wayne Freeman. Freddie was hired into Michigan Bell in 1967 as a clerk. The company soon became Ameritech, then AT &T when she retired in 1996 after 29 years of service. She loved to cook, travel, had a passion for shopping, but most of all helping people and spending time with family, especially her grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 11th, 2023 at Rudy Funeral Home 25650 Van Dyke in Center Line from 10am to 11am and funeral service 11am to 12 noon. Cemetery Private.
