Gary Stewart Teal's Obituary
Gary Teal, age 49, of Center Line died suddenly on January 26, 2026. Born in Washington DC, he is the dear son of Jay and Breda Teal. Beloved husband of Jennifer and father of Jayson, George and Gary Nicholas Teal, stepfather of Marissa (Vince) Medley and Miranda Medley. He is also survived by his brother Mark (Beth) Teal and uncle to Zakary, Ryanna and Ryan, many friends and his former wife Elissa (John) Watson. Gary’s greatest joy was being a father to Jayson, George and Gary. He was building a legacy of great men, a wolfpack. Gary was a proud United States Army Veteran and served 8 years as an interrogator in the military. As fate would have it, he was at the Pentagon on 911 and assisted with multiple injuries and casualties during and after that attack. He lost several friends on that day as well. Gary was employed for over 18 years at CSI Support and Development as an IT Director. He was a man who loved cooking and feeding people, spending time with his boys, he enjoyed playing video games and just hanging out. He always had a funny meme or video to show and had catalogued the entire internet in his brain. He and Jennifer enjoyed running, he liked to keep in shape. He was a member of the VFW Corporal Richard Menge post and proudly served his community on the City of Center Line Downtown Development Association. As a man, he was a supportive human being, a good listener and loved by everyone he met, and he tried to meet everyone. He believed in his salvation through Jesus Christ. He will be greatly missed. Visitation will be held at Rudy Funeral Home 25650 Van Dyke in Center Line on Thursday, January 29, 2026, from 1-8 PM with a funeral service at 6:30 PM followed by full military honors.
