D. Vanconant
To Aunt Joyce, Jeff, Jennifer, Elaine & Gary, Jr. I just learned about Uncle Gary's passing. It is absolutely heart-wrenching news that you hope will never have to hear, but unfortunately it does and you do.
I have extremely fond memories of coming to the Westminster house to pick up Jeff so that we could go on our boyhood "adventures" (I'm from Liverpool, just down from John's Aunt Mimi. . .remember that Jeff? :))
It is so sad as the elders that played such a pivotal role in our upbringing are gone in a flash and leave such an empty void in the rest of our lives. But it is incredibly satisfying to remember all of the good things that they instilled and added to our lives, which helped shape you into the people that we've become as adults; parents, friends, brothers, sisters, cousins. . . .
I will truly miss my Uncle Gary, as I do my Aunt Elaine, Uncle Greg and Aunt Laurene.
I am so sorry that I cannot be there to give my support in person, I truly give my heartfelt condolences to my family, as they are the foundation that has made us and keeps us as strong as we are. As a family the VanConant's will strive with great resolve to let the sorrow help us to heal the loss.
