George Anthony Wiegand's Obituary
George A. Wiegand age 73, a longtime Center Line resident died unexpectedly at Ascension hospital in Warren. George was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late George and Rita Wiegand. Dear husband of Karen. Beloved father of Tracey Duche, George (Trang) Wiegand Jr., Jennifer (Scott) Odziana and stepsons Kevin (Zena) and Thomas (Jennifer) Trenkamp. Proud grandpa to Madison, George III, Brooklyn, Nathan, Andrew, Ava, Aiden, Kacey, Kaleb, Rocco and Ada. One of eight siblings, he was the brother of Larry Wiegand, Bobby (Dorothy) Wiegand, Christine (Charlie) Dunlap, Diane (Joe) Reiterman, Geraldine Wiegand, predeceased by Francis and Allan Wiegand. George is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. George was a United States Marine Corp veteran. Very much a people person, he seemed to know somebody everywhere he went. A very helpful kind of guy, George always was willing to lend a hand to anyone in need. He loved riding his Harley Davidson along with his wife Karen, enjoyed attending kids’ sports games, playing chess, indulging in his caramel nuggets and above all, spending time with his grandkids and family.
