Gerald Rebar, age 87, longtime resident of Washington Township, died peacefully on February 22, 2020. Beloved husband of Janet. Loving father of Gerald Rebar, Keith Rebar, Jan Johnson, Diana (Darren) Croce, Mary Ruppert, Elizabeth (Mark) Murphy, Leonard Rebar, Thomas (Jill) Rebar, and Daniel Rebar. Loving grandfather of 22 and great-grandfather of 6. Dear brother of Gilbert (Sheri) Rebar and the late Kenneth Rebar. Gerald is preceded in death by his 2 loving children Jeffrey Alan and Melissa Marie. Gerald had worked at GM Fisher Body as a senior designer for over 35 years. He enjoyed farming, woodworking, animals, gardening and flowers. He loved his family, especially his great-grandchildren. He was deeply religious, a devout Catholic, a Catechist, and professed Secular Franciscan of the Third Order. Visitation will be held Friday, February 28th from 1pm-8pm with a 7pm Rosary.
