Gordon Lane Pierce's Obituary
Gordon Pierce, age 79, of Sterling Heights, died peacefully with family at his side on November 13, 2019. Beloved husband of Nancy for over 46 years. Loving father of Gordon L. (Adriana) Pierce Jr., Loren (Melinda) Pierce, and Robin Shayota. Cherished grandfather of Gordon L. (Ivy Field) Pierce III, Justin (Agnieszka) Pierce, Mateo Pierce-Mosquera, Avis Shayota, Emma Pierce, Drake Shayota, and Maggie Pierce. Great-grandfather of Desiree Pierce. Gordon was predeceased by his parents William and Gladys Pierce, and brother Keith Pierce (Late Jewel). He was an honorably discharged Air-Force Veteran and served in Vietnam. He retired as President of Display Car Services. Gordon loved gardening, especially growing his tomatoes, enjoyed listening to country music, and animals, especially the late Jake, his canine companion. Visitation will be held at Rudy Funeral Home, 25650 Van Dyke, in Center Line, on Friday, November 15th, from 1pm to 8pm and Saturday 11 am-12:00 pm.
