Gregory Thomas Rzeppa's Obituary
Gregory T. Rzeppa age 58, a long-time resident of Center Line, died unexpectantly on September 17, 2021. He was born in Highland Park, Michigan to Delores and the late Melvin Rzeppa. Loving father of Martin (Mother- Lori Lambert). Brother of Gayle (John) Wyllie, Deann (Peter) Ferrell, and the late Michael Rzeppa. Uncle of Zachery, Austin, and Evan. Stepfather of Natalie Stempnik and special “Poppi” of Charlotte. A graduate of St Clement High School Class of 1981, Greg was the current Captain of the City of Center Line Public Safety Department volunteer fire staff. He was also employed as a Fire Marshall at Chrysler Warren Stamping and Truck Assembly plant for over 10 years. Previously he had worked over 18 years at Wyandotte Electric. Greg loved being with his family, traveling around the U.S. and socializing with his friends. He was an avid fan of Detroit sports teams and especially enjoyed watching the Red Wings, Lions and Tigers play. Visitation will be held at Rudy Funeral Home, 25650 Van Dyke in Center Line on Wednesday September 22, 2021 from 1-8 PM with a 6 :00 PM Rosary. He will be instate 9:30 AM, Thursday, September 23, 2021 at St Mary, Our Lady Queen of Families Parish, (St Clement site) 25320 Van Dyke in Center Line, for a 10:30 AM Funeral Mass.
