Gregory Thomas Trendowski's Obituary
Gregory Trendowski, age 80, of Detroit, died on Sunday, July 16, 2023. Beloved husband of Audrey for 18 years. Dear father of Nikolas Trendowski. Brother of Mark and the late Conrad Trendowski.. He was predeceased by his late wife Monica (nee Wichorek) in 2003. Son of the late Helen and Thomas Trendowski. Gregg had a passion for art and Science Fiction. He had a Master of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Oregon and a Master of Library Science from Wayne State University. He taught Llife Drawing at the University of Oregon, also worked as a Graphic Arts Director. Then was self-employed as an Archival Grant Research Writer. An avid SciFan, (Wayne Third, Corfllu,Confusion, WorldCon, ReaderCon) and longtime member of the Ukrainian Graduates. A memorial is planned for a later date.
