Hubert Moore Warf's Obituary
Hubert Moore Warf age 90 of Warren, Michigan died on April 25, 2026. Hubert was born in Vildo, Tennessee on December 5,1935 to the late Opal and Lebon Warf. He is survived by his sisters Shirley Hodge and Helen Overstreet. Beloved husband of the late Ella Mae for 70 years. Dear father of Dale Warf, Frederick Warf, Sandra (Roger) Perreault, Brenda (Dino) Bernardi, Weldon Warf and the late Katherine Thelma Warf. He was blessed with 5 Grandchildren: Christopher, Jennifer, Collette, Tiffany and Dino, as well as many grandchildren that he treated as his own. He was predeceased by his brothers Claude, Paul, Aubrey, and Darrel and sister Joyce. Hubert spent his life as a hard working businessman. He started out picking cotton and lumbering in Tennessee, was a butcher at Holiday Market in Royal Oak, and was a proud UAW member working the line at Chrysler. Hubert was a hardworking man that often worked two jobs to support his family. He and his wife Ella owned D & H Auto Parts in Detroit. On the weekends Hubert and Ella Mae loved taking long drives to new destinations and just enjoyed being together seeing the sites. Being with family was important as was growing green beans, tomatoes, and sunflowers and feeding his family of outdoor cats. He will truly be missed. Visitation will be held at Rudy Funeral Home 25650 Van Dyke in Center Line on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, from 2-4 PM. A private burial will take place at White Chapel Cemetery in Troy, Michigan.
