Ida Margaret Brueggeman's Obituary
Ida Margaret (nee Carroll) Brueggeman, passed away on March 23, 2014 at Sanctuary at Fraser Villa in Fraser, Michigan, one day past her 100th birthday on March 22, 2014.
Ida was born in Windsor Ontario Canada. Her parents, Charles and Rosina Carroll had emigrated from England four years earlier. She is survived by two sisters, Kay Gardiner and Lorna Carroll. She was predeceased by three sisters, Rose, Florence and Dorothy and four brothers, Charles, Gordon, Stan and Ron.
Ida and Clarence J. Brueggeman were married Nov 5, 1938 in Windsor. They were married almost 44 years before her beloved Bruggy passed away at the age of 69. They were loving parents to their seven daughters: Carol (Jack) O’Mara, Gayle (Gino) Lamberti, Deanna (Bill) Misterovich, Laurene (John) Shea, Beverly Brueggeman, Catharine (Scott Dawe) Rose, and Shelley, (Late Mario) Lamoureax. Her loving family includes 20 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation at Rudy Funeral Home, 25650 Van Dyke, Center Line, MI 48015 on Friday, March 28, from 1 until 9 pm. Instate Saturday. Mar. 29, 9:30 am. at St. Mary, Our Lady Queen of Families Parish, (St Clement Site) 25320 Van Dyke Avenue, Center Line, MI. 48015 for 10 am Mass. Interment: St. Clement Cemetery, Center Line, MI.Thank you to all who have supported Ida and her family on her journey to rejoin her beloved Bruggy. May they both rest in peace.
