Imelda Lorraine Shelton, age 88, a longtime Center Line resident died on February 9,2015 at Beaumont Hospital of Troy. Imelda was born in Center Line, to Anthony and Margaret Schimmel on November 11,1926. She grew up there and attended St Clement School. Imelda was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her late husband Wilkie. Dearest mother of Donna (David) McConas, late Ronald Shelton, Randy and Dan (Deborah) Shelton, Mary (Richard) Stegner, Judith Rudisill and late Paul Shelton. She is survived by 8 Grandchildren; Stephanie Burns, Xac Stegner, Austin and Kyle Rudisill, Tiffany, Joshua, Dillon, and Julia Shelton. Great-grandmother of Everett Burns. Sister of Ann Marie Ioppolo and predeceased by ; Louis, Vince, Thomas and Francis Schimmel, Rita Wiegand and Lucille Sciottio. Visitation will be held at Rudy Funeral Home 25650 Van Dyke in Center Line on Thursday, February 12,2015 from 1-8 PM. Instate on Friday, at St Mary, Our Lady Queen of Families Parish (St Clement site) 25320 Van Dyke,Center Line for a 10 AM Mass. Cemetery will be private. Memorial to St Jude Hospital appreciated: St. Jude Tribute Program, P.O.Box 1000 Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
