I have had the honor of visiting with Irene each week for the past few years as a visitor with the Red Cross. Each week we would play a variety of games. Irene was very enthusiastic and thrilled when she beat me. We often shared chocolate as a treat for the winners. Irene often spoke of her family and usually had a joke to share with me. I loved her sense of humour, her consideration for others and her caring nature. I will miss her enormously and hope she is in a better place with others she loved.
