James "Jim" Roger Hooper's Obituary
James “Jim” Hooper, age 60, a lifelong resident of Warren, died on March 2, 2024. He was born on April 19, 1963, to the late Arvil and Jean Hooper. Loving father of Kristen (Emmanuel) Smith. Dear brother of Brenda (Mack) Raper, Gayle Price, Mary Rehm, and Kaye (Tony) Chamberlain. Jim was loved by many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. Jim worked in shipping and receiving and retired after 38 years. Jim was a member of Van Dyke Baptist Church. He enjoyed vacationing in Eastern Tennessee with many fond memories visiting extended family. Jim enjoyed the outdoors, going to sporting events, riding his bike, working in his yard, and listening to a variety of music, especially country. Jim loved spending time with his daughter. He had the gift of humor and laughter which he shared with everyone.
Visitation will be held at Rudy Funeral Home, 25650 Van Dyke in Center Line on Monday, March 11th from 2pm – 8pm with a 6pm funeral service officiated by Richard Wilkerson.
