James Irving Minnick's Obituary
James I. Minnick, age 73, of Warren, died at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit on April 16, 2022. Jim was born in Detroit to the late Irving and Ruth Minnick. Beloved Husband of Jane for 53 years. Loving Dad to Jeffrey (Amber) Minnick and Jason (Katelyn) Minnick. Grandfather of 9 grandchildren; Justin, Will, Robert, Zachary, Henry, Ryan, Oliver, Matthew, and Christopher. Dear Brother of Patrick (Patty) Minnick, Maureen (Bill) Brunton, Steve (Sheila) Minnick, Chuck (Shirley) Minnick, Marilyn and Brian Minnick. Jim had retired from Chrysler, Warren Truck plant, having worked there for over 34 years as a Skilled Trades Supervisor. Above all else, Jim loved his beloved Jane and his whole extended family. He enjoyed going up to Lexington where he would enjoy the outdoors, fishing, and boating. Quite the craftsman, Jim was handy with his carpentry skills, designing and making beautiful birdhouses and making jewelry out of shell, stones, and beach glass. Visitation will be at Rudy Funeral Home 25650 Van Dyke in Center Line on Monday April 25th from 1-8 PM with a 6PM Scripture. He will lie Instate Tuesday, April 26th at 9:30AM at St Mary, Our Lady Queen of Families Parish 25320 Van Dyke, Center Line for a 10AM Mass.
