Janie was an excellent seamstress, piano player and cook. Family loved her meatballs, chop suey, and apple pie among other dishes. The family vacations and time spent enjoying Port Austin were always a fun time. She and her sisters, the “Golden Girls” enjoyed shopping at the mall, playing cards, especially going to the casino, and always having a good time together. She looked forward to visits and long distant calls with her brother Rick. Because of the bonds between siblings, all the cousins grew up like siblings.
