Janice Mary Radzitowski's Obituary
Janice Mary Radzitowski (nee Deckers) age 66, became an angel of our Lord on Sunday, April 17, 2016. She was first an angel to the family she leaves behind, daughters Lisa (Craig) Richardson, Sherrie Radzitowski (Mike), and son David Vassallo; grandchildren Payton Marie and Chase Anthony Richardson. Payton would like everyone to know that her grandma was her best friend. She also leaves behind her brothers, Robert (Constance) Deckers of Mount Clemens and Scott (Lori) Deckers of Texas; seven nieces and nephews and is survived by many close friends, relatives in California, and dear friend Norm.
Janice was born December 15, 1949, and grew up in Center Line, Michigan. She was preceded in death by her dear parents Al and Mary Deckers (for whom she was primary caregiver for many years.) She graduated from St. Clement High School in 1968 and later attended Macomb Community College and remained close friends with several sorority sisters thereafter. She worked for 21 years for Extra Credit Union in Warren where she also established many close friendships. Janice loved spending time with family and friends first and foremost and especially loved trips up north to Caseville. Janice was called “Mom” by so many of her children’s friends and she (and her most famous brownies) will be greatly missed by all.
