Jimmie Lee Holbrook's Obituary
Jimmie Lee Holbrook age 82 of Warren, died on January 15, 2019. He was born in Blytheville, Arkansas to the late Silverine and Laverne Holbrook. Jimmie is survived by his wife Beverly. Loving father of Pam Holbrook, Melissa Senkowski and stepson Matthew Buskell. Also survived by his grandchildren; Joshua, Calvin and Cosette, great-grandchildren; Jada, Carter and Chase. Jimmie was a retired heavy equipment operator in the construction field. He was a proud U.S Air Force Veteran, having served in Tripoli. When driving, he frequently would point out some of his larger, past work accomplishments, like the 696 expressway and laying the foundation of the Renaissance Center. He will forever be remembered as a a very respectful, giving and caring man. Jimmie was also helpful to his neighbors and other people, shoveling their snow and concerned about their well being. A "stop and smell the roses" kind of guy, He loved nature, bird watching, fishing and nature trails. His green thumb kept his love of flowers growing. A Celebration of Life memorial visitation and service will be held on Saturday, January 19,2019 at Rudy Funeral Home 25650 Van Dyke in Center Line. Visitation will be 1pm-2pm with 2pm Military honors and a 2:30pm time of service and sharing of memories. Visit www.rudyfuneral.com to light a candle or leave a memory.
