John Bohach age 89 of Detroit, died on February 27, 2015. Beloved husband of Dorothy. Loving Father of Jan Swita, Linda, David (Debra) and the late Michael Bohach. Proud grandfather of Ryan and Matt Swita, Nicole Bedore, Zachary, Kaitlyn and Alexandra Bohach. Great-grandfather of John and Henry Bedore. John served in WWII in the 114th Infantry Division in the European Theatre and was awarded the Purple Heart and Bronze Star. He was a Life Member of the VFW Bruce Post. Visitation at Rudy Funeral Home, 25650 Van Dyke, Center Line on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 from 3-8 PM with 7 PM Military honors and Rosary at 7:15 PM. Instate on Thursday, 11:30 AM at Ss. Cyril & Methodius Church, 41233 Ryan Rd. in Sterling Heights and a 12 Noon Mass. We ask that you please consider a memorial donation to a charity of your choice instead of gifts of flowers or money.
