John William Cooke, age 57, of Warren, died suddenly on May 11, 2023. Son of John Edward Cooke (Vivian) and the late Deberha G. Cooke. Survived by his loving wife Claudia Cooke of 15 years. Loving father of Nancy (Late Michael) Redington, William Peek, Kellie Cooke, Crystal Cooke, Deberha (Eric) Wilson, Daniel Nash, Jerry Cox, Shaun Cox, Dwayne Cox, Amanda (Sam) Hammoud, James Ryan, and the late Joshua White. Grandfather of 36 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Brother of Denise (late John) Kuhowski, Steven (Joella) Cooke, Dolly (Ramon) Diaz, and Deana (Michael) O’Brien. Also survived by many good friends. John was a truck driver “Bumper Humper” for Lion Trucking Company for over 20 years, He was a very creative and funny guy, always busy with some new project. A devoted family man, he loved his family and friends and regularly enjoyed spending good times with them. John was a very likable guy who was always happy. “Joe Cool” as he was affectionately known by his many friends and family, loved the outdoors, being up north, and was the risk taker. John was a one-of-a-kind guy and remains loved and cherished by all who knew him. John will be forever missed. Visitation will be held at Rudy Funeral Home, 25650 Van Dyke, in Center Line, on Saturday, May 20th from 5pm to 8pm and Sunday, May 21st from 12pm to 6pm with a 6pm time of service officiated by pastor Larry Owens.
