He began as a police officer in Warren, advancing to detective, working on many high-profile cases within the City of Warren. John was a totally dedicated family man. When he was younger, he coached baseball when his son was in little league and later assisting the coaches at Fitzgerald High school and Federation baseball. He thoroughly enjoyed being with family and friends especially doing things together or going on several camping adventures. Many friends and lots of memories were made on those trips.
