Joseph Samulowicz's Obituary
Joseph Samulowicz, age 94, of Warren, died on March 30, 2024. Son of the late Joseph and Helen Samulowicz. Predeceased by siblings Wanda (Stephen) Mumrock, Helen “Pat” (Tiffin) Bates, and Jennie (Bernie) Wawrzyniak. Many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Joseph was honorably discharged from the US Navy. During the end of his service, he was under contract with 20th Century Fox, where he met Marilyn Monroe, one of his most cherished memories. Joseph was a member of the DIA, Friends of the Polish Art Club, and acted at The Grosse Pointe Theatre. He also enjoyed music, travel, painting, and doing volunteer work. A funeral mass will be held on Friday, April 5th, 9:30am instate for 10am mass at St. Mary, Our Lady Queen of Families Catholic Church (St. Clement Site) 25320 Van Dyke in Center Line.
