Kathleen (Kathy) Lynn LeBeau's Obituary
Kathy Lynn (Bergen) LeBeau, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away peacefully on her own terms. Born on February 10, 1952, Kathy lived a life marked by independence, resilience, and a straightforward spirit that those who knew her will remember.
She was the mother of Scott (Vicki) Parker, Thomas (Kira) Parker, Jason (Jennifer) Parker, and Karie Parker. Though life led each of them in different directions, Kathy carried a quiet pride for her children and the lives they built. Family was important and she truly loved them. Mom was always the level headed peacemaker among them.
Kathy was a grandmother to Spencer, Logan, Emma, Lillian, Jordyn, Morgan, Gracie, Jayna, Kendall, Alyssa, Jesse, and Zackery (Kate), and a great-grandmother to Zayn, Sapphira and Zianna. Even as distance and time shaped their relationships, each held a place in her heart.
She is survived by her siblings—sisters Joanne and Sandy, and brother William Bergen. Though they lived separate lives, family ties remained part of her story. She is preceded in death by her parents, Robert and Virginia Bergen; her brother, Robert Bergen; her granddaughter, Madison Parker and her husband Robert LeBeau (2015). She was proficient at sewing, made her children’s clothes when they were younger and built her career in industrial sewing for car interiors.
Kathy was a woman who found joy in the things that mattered most to her. She enjoyed shooting pool, spending time outdoors especially camping, cheering for the Detroit Red Wings, traveling -Hawaii was a favorite place and especially celebrating Christmas. The holiday season brought her true happiness, she cherished the lights, the music, and the warmth that time of year brought into her life.
Those who knew Kathy will remember her straightforward honesty, her independence, and her ability to stay strong through life’s challenges. She leaves behind memories that will be held in each person’s own way.
Kathy will be remembered with respect and in the ways her life touched others. Visitation will be held at Rudy Funeral Home 25650 Van Dyke in Center Line on Friday, December 5, 2025, from 1-8 PM with a 6 PM time of funeral service.
