Lisha Marie Bailey's Obituary
Lisha Marie Bailey, age 40, died unexpectedly on April 24, 2022. Dear daughter of Catharine (Brueggeman) Rose and her stepfather Scott Dawe. Sister of Daniel Bailey and Melissa Bailey (Sean Watton). Mother of six children: Clarissa Serenity (fathered by Tim Johnson; adopted by Catharine Rose and Scott Dawe), Phoenix and Colt; adopted, Brooklyn Marie (fathered by Roy Masters; adopted by Catharine Rose and Scott Dawe), Guitano Alfonso (fathered by the late Michael Talarico; adopted by John and Leslie Purdom and their children Layla, Ivy, Elliot, Emma and Aveena), Cali Michael (adopted through the Michigan Adoptive Resource Exchange (MARE). Aunt to Aeris and Damian Watton. She is survived by many loving aunts and uncles, numerous cousins and countless friends. She attended Cousino High School and graduated from Enterprise High School in June 1999. After high school, Lisha earned an Esthetician license from the State of Michigan. Growing up, Lisha participated in track, swim, basketball and softball. She loved nature, animals and gardening. She enjoyed walking year-round, shopping and expressing her creativity with makeup, skincare, many hairstyles, hair colors and tattoos. She loved drawing; her preferred medium was colored pencils. Lisha had a strong interest in music, lyrics and liked to sing. She delighted in giving and receiving compliments. Along with her gentle nature, she had relentless strength. She loved God and prayer, was deeply spiritual and kept her bible and cherished angel statue at her bedside. She enjoyed quotes, connecting with others and was always ready for life’s adventures. Above all, the thing she wanted and cherished most in life was to be a mom. Visitation will be held at Rudy Funeral Home 25650 Van Dyke, in Center Line on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 1-8 PM with a service at 6:30 PM. Burial of cremains will take place on Friday, June 17th at 11:30 AM at St. Clement Cemetery, 8326 Engleman St. in Center Line. A Celebration of Life Event will take place on Saturday July 17, from 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM at Center Line Memorial Park, Pavilion #2, 25355 Lawrence Ave., in Center Line.
