Margaret M. Gorniak age 78 of Oklahoma and longtime resident of Warren,MI died Tuesday, May 22, 2012 in Oklahoma. She was Born November 28, 1933 in Melvindale to Leo P. O’Connor and Mary Ellen Casey. Margaret was preceded in death by her husband John Gorniak (2001). She is survived by 5 Children, Mary Ellen (Anthony) Mazurek, Susan (Theodore) Ranallo, John Gorniak, Jim Gorniak, and Paul (Dianna) Gorniak. Grandmother of 7, Ted Jr.,Jennifer, Erin, Matthew, Kyle, Kristen, and Rudy and 1 great-grandchild, Melissa. Sister of Virginia Marek and Patricia O’Connor. Predeceased by 5 Siblings. Margaret had been a custodian at Van Dyke Public Schools where she retired after many years. Visitation will be held at Rudy Funeral Home 25650 Van Dyke in Center Line on Saturday May 26 from 1 PM until 9 PM with 7 PM Rosary. Funeral services Sunday 1 PM at the Funeral Home with Fr Dennis Nowinski officiating. Memorials to the family appreciated. Immediately following the funeral service, there will be a pot-luck memorial picnic at Civic Center Park in Madison Heights.
