Mary "Angie" Evangeline Bajorek's Obituary
Mary “Angie” Bajorek age 86, a longtime Dearborn resident, died on March 10,2024 at Corewell -Dearborn Hospital. She was born in Detroit to the late Steven and Helen Mandalis. Dear mother of Pamela (Sean) Ennis and the late Nick Telegadas. Loving grandmother of 5 Grandchildren; Richard Buschbacher, Christina Burns, Dawn Aaba, Elizabeth Penilla and Mary Telegadas. Great-grandmother of the late David Mattingly Jr., Miranda Dotson, Pamela and Justin Burns. Blessed with 2 great-granddaughters, Eva and Kinsley. Sister of Irene Mandalis, pre-deceased by Mary Salafatinos and Gus Mandalis. Also survived by her companion James Kafkakis. “Angie” as almost everyone affectionately called her, was a woman on the go. Always active, she kept busy going shopping, out to eat, traveling, visiting the casinos, gardening and going to play bingo, a game she loved playing. She enjoyed her bird pictures and collecting bird figurines which brough her much joy. Angie loved her family, but spending time with James also allowed her to have a companion to do things with. Until the days before her death, she continued to do tax prep for her clients. She will be greatly missed. A life celebration will be held at a later date.
