Mary Lou Segesta, age 92 of Eastpointe, died peacefully at her home on March 29, 2021. Born Mary Loretta Bower in Royal Oak Township, to the late Lahman and Loretta Bower, she was raised from age 8 by Marjorie (Eagleson) Bower when widowed Lahman later remarried. Beloved wife of Benedict since 1954. Loving mother of Benedict (Krysten) Segesta, John Segesta, and the late Michael Segesta. Dear grandmother of Stefany Segesta and Sara Hilliard. Cherished great-grandmother of William Hillard and Mary Jane Hillard. Sister of Marjorie (Joseph) Longo, Patricia Bower, William (late Dorothy) Bower, predeceased by Lahman (late Joan) Bower, Jack (Audrey) Bower and Jim Bower. Mary Lou went to college for art and loved to paint and draw. Family was an especially important part of her life. Memorials to Alzheimer’s Association appreciated.
