Michael Allan Bilyk's Obituary
Michael A. Bilyk, age 79 of Oakland Twp., Michigan died on December 14, 2025, at Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit. Mike was born in Detroit, Michigan to the late Michael and Florence Bilyk. Brother of the late Ronald Bilyk. Affectionately known to his godchildren as “Uncle Mike”, he is also survived by cousins and many close friends. A proud United States Marine Corp Veteran and longtime member of Chapter 154 Vietnam Veterans having served in Vietnam. A former engineer, who also liked to travel, he was also an avid sports car enthusiast and was big into British sports cars. He was a lifetime member of the Detroit Triumph Sports Car Club. An active volunteer with the Vietnam Veterans traveling memorial, Mike was also known as the “ice cream guy" who always sought out an ice cream shop wherever they went. He liked being just “one of the guys” and enjoyed meeting up with friends to just get together, eat and talk whenever he could. Visitation will be held at Rudy Funeral Home 25650 Van Dyke in Center Line on Sunday December 21,2025 from 1-8 PM with an Honor guard beginning at 5 pm, Chaplain Service and Sharing of memories at 6 PM followed by full military honors.
