A Good guy, a Best friend, a Great man. A loss that all those who knew him will feel. A person of great morale character and ethic. He possessed the most infectious laugh of anyone. His faith gave me faith. Rest peacefully my brother.
So sorry to hear the news about Mike. All my thoughts and prayers are with the family.

I am pretty sure we had the best block/street in all of Redford Twp. Crosley will forever hold very special place in my heart. We had crew of kids all around the same age and us younger kids had protectors. Mike and Dale.... the coolest kids on the block. I remember the boys were picking on me in front of their neighborhoods house and Mike overheard from the house, he came out of the house and he told them to leave me alone, they took off as Mike instructed. Then Mike bent over and said to me " Don't take no shit from boys... ever". I was over the moon to have him defend me and then to me assure it was okay to stand up for myself. He was a good guy and friend. Karen I wanted you to know he did this for me in 1979 and I carried his advise through out my life. My deepest sympathy to you and all of Mike and Vince's family. May the road rise to meet you, old friend.

My condolences to Michael's wife Lisa, his children, his mother Karen, and the entire Varilone family. I had the privilege of knowing Mike for over 30 years, whom I was first introduced to by his beloved little brother, Vince. Rest in peace, Michael.
