Murray Howard Schafer Sr of Warren and Formerly Detroit, died suddenly on Saturday, December 20,2014 at his home. He was born in Detroit on April 30,1942 to Howard and Evelyn Schafer.. He is survived by his wife Mary Ann who he married 47 years ago. Dear father of Lisa (Paul) Freeman, Howard (Staci) Schafer , Murray Jr. Schafer , Aaron Schafer, Michelle Schafer and Tommy (Holly) Phillips. Grandfather of 22 and Great-Grandfather of 3. Murray is the brother of Jonny and Billy Schafer Darlene Kalka and Ann Marie Tweed. Murray was a US Army Veteran,
in the National Guard and worked and retired from Chrysler where he was a welder.
Visitation will be held on Friday, December 26,2014 from 10 AM until 11 AM Time of Service. Burial will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly On Monday December 29,2014 at 11:30 AM
