Nancy Jean Harmon age 79 Born March 24,1933 in St. Louis, MO. to the late Oliver and late Mildred (Steinbruegge) Gerdes. A longtime resident of Warren, MI. Nancy passed away peacefully on April 19, 2012 at St John Oakland Hospital in Madison Heights. Nancy worked as a bookeeper in the accounting Department of a Nursing Home. She was always a very loving and caring person with a gentle nature and loved animals. She was a loving daughter, mother and sister. Beloved mother of Robert,Michael, Late Thomas, Richard and late James Harmon. Also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sister of the late Oliver Gerdes, Lawrence(Betty) Gerdes, Dorothy Taylor, Donna(Jim) Nigg, Darla(Bob) Young, Debbie Gerdes, and Darrell(Ima) Gerdes. many nieces and nephews. Visitation at Rudy Funeral Home 25650 Van Dyke, Center Line,MI on Tuesday April 24,2012 from 4-9 PM with 7 PM Time of Service. Memorials to the family appreciated. Cemetery private.
